There are 2 ways to measure with the PEN-PRO. Dip the tip into the sample and press the START button OR press the START button and touch the tip to the sample. There's also a new function for continuous measurements. The temperature range of the PEN-PRO "Dip-Type" refractometer has been improved from 60˚C to 100˚C. No more waiting! Measure hot samples during cooking, such as soups and sauces.
