Legato 100- The KDS Legato 100 Single Syringe infuse only is the worlds first single syringe infusion only pump with a touch screen interface.

The KDS Legato 100 Single Syringe infuse only is the worlds first single syringe infusion only pump with a touch screen interface.

The Legato 100 has a wide flow rate range from 1.26 pl/min to 88.32 ml/min depending on syringe size. The large touch screen color display allows the user to see all of the pumps operating parameters to ensure proper operation during the experiments. Syringe size and flow rate are easily displayed as well as the volume delivered and the elapsed time. Set up is easy using the icon driven software.

The Legato 100 is an infuse only syringe pump. It accommodates a single syringe from 0.5 ul to 60 ml. Any type of syringe can be used in the unit including glass, plastic or stainless steel. The syringes are held in place by KD Scientifics' new clamping mechanism designed to hold syringes securely in place. The run screen has all of the pump parameters, as well as, the pumps running conditions. The basic pump offers the same easy to use touch screen configuration and "run" screen as the more advanced Legato 200. An led light on the front panel makes it easy to see if the pump is running. Syringe size and flow rates are easily displayed as well as the volume delivered and the elapsed time.

The pumps are versatile and multiple pumps can be connected through the RS485 interface. Advanced micro stepping techniques are employed to further reduce the step angle to eliminate flow pulsation. The accuracy is +_0.5% A wide dynamic flow range from pico liters per minute to millimeters per minute can be programmed into the pump. Add the New Adagio software to maximize the use of the pumps functions and features. Adagio allows you to configure the pump through the software as well as operate one or multiple pumps. In addition the National Instruments labview drivers are available on their website.

Legato 200-The next generation of syringe pumps

The Legato 200 Infuse only syringe pump offers unparalleled ease of use through the high resolution touch screen. The basic model works with one syringe or two and can be reconfigured in the field to be used with multiple syringes. The full touch screen interface enables the user to quickly create configurations and recall them for easy use. The 4.3" TFT color display with touch pad interface presents all the pump operating parameters on one easy to view run screen. Protective cover over the display prevents leakage into the display. To optimize your bench space the Legato 200 can be placed on it's side to reduce the footprint by 4 times. The footprint is only 3.5 x 9.75 in. the display also tilts with the change to allow the user to operate the pump vertically.


The Legato 200 is an infuse only syringe pump. It accommodates 2 syringes from 0.5 µl to 140 ml. User definable flow rates with selectable target volumes or time values to control the total infusion volume. An led light on the front panel makes it easy to see if the pump is running. The programmable model offers maximum flexibility for configuring and running different programs. Up to 40 programs of 20 steps each can be configured and stored in the unit and recalled quickly with the touch of a button.


The pumps are versatile and can be connected through the RS-485 interface Advanced microstepping techniques are employed to further reduce the step angle to eliminate flow pulsation. The accuracy is ±0.35% A wide dynamic flow range from 5 pl/min to 215.803 ml/min can be programmed into the pump. Add the New Adagio software to maximize the use of the pumps functions and features. Adagio allows you to configure the pump through the software as well as operate one or multiple pumps.

Legato 210-210P- Infuse/withdraw Syringe pumps. Accomodates 2 syringes.

The Legato 210 supports infuse only, withdraw only, infuse/withdraw, withdraw/infuse and continuous mode. User definable flow rates with selectable target volume or time values to control the total infusion volume. The Legato 210P Programmable models allows user defined configurations/programs of up to 800 steps. Up to 40 programs of 20 steps each step can be stored in memory. A version with 0-10 VDC Analog Control is also available. 

Legato 270-270P- Push-Pull syringe pump. Accommodate two syringes for infusion and two syringes for withdrawal.

These models support infusion and withdrawal simultaneously at user defined flow rates and with selectable target volumes to control the total volume pumped. They also support infuse only, withdraw only, infuse/withdraw/ withdraw/infuse and continuous mode, user-defined flow rates with selectable target volumes. 

The 270P Model allows user defined configurations/programs of up to 800 steps. Up to 40 programs of 20 steps each step can be stored in memory. 


A version with 0-10 VDC Analog Control is also available.
