Descriptions
This portable hardness tester works with static load, according to the Rockwell principle, with preload, and test load. By applying pressure, the preload (the zero setting is carried out electronically) and test load are activated. The hardness value is shown on a large, backlit display as soon as the test is complete and the pressure removed.

Computest SC can work with all kinds of metals without changing the indenter. Starting a test is very easy, requiring only the desired scale to be selected on the keyboard and then force applied on the instrument. Minimal surface preparation is required.

Magnetic Support
Can be used for either flat or round surfaces (minimum diameter: 30 mm). Particularly suitable for rolls and cylinders. Weight: 3.5 kg.

Computest SC key functions
SCALE SELECT - Choice of hardness scales from the following: HRC, HRB, HB-30, N/mm², Kg/mm², HV and depth. (HB10 - HB5 for light metal alloys available upon request.)

MENU - Multi-function key to access different functions.

PRINT - Works when the hardness tester is connected to a printer, with a variety of possible printouts. Test certificates can be printed in five different languages.

TOL - Set tolerances in batch testing. Four tolerance values can be set.

CAL - Calibrate the hardness scale for a different hardness or material.

MODE - Allows the operator to immediately check the instrument’s situation.

ENTER - Saves numerical values in memory.

FILE - Available files.
