SPS07 - Flooding system

The flooding and discharging water system.

It is composed by two vessels, both in stainless steel.

Inner tank (gross volume 112 l)

The net volume flooded by water is 500x500x380 mm (95 l).

Suitable for test 9 concrete cubes 150x150x150 mm.

The samples are supported by a perforated plate which distances the lower surface of the specimen from the bottom of the tank so to expose all the faces of the specimen to the water.

External tank

It is composed of a water reservoir and of a techcnical room that contains all the necessary components to keep the water warm and to push it inside the chamber or to take it back from the instrument.

The external water reservoir must be filled manually during the first installation.

The extenal tank has its own power cord and is connected with the chamber through a fast connector. The chamber will automatically or manually activate the external tank in such a way to flood or drain the internal tank.
