While comparators allow the estimation of surface roughness, both to touch and sight, Testex tape Elcometer 122 allows the user to measure the peak of height low profile point.
The tape Testex Elcometer 122 consists of a foam having a dubbing incompressible. The foam is rubbed on a surface, which provides a permanent replica of the surface profile. The thickness gauge Elcometer 124 will then be used to measure the surface profile.
The Elcometer 124 thickness gauge is used to measure the highest point height low point of a surface profile formed in the Elcometer 122 Testex tape
