The frame is equipped with an upper plate with spherical seat that moves vertically with a spring.

The diameter of the plates is 75mm and vertical daylight which is 53mm to conduct tests on 50mm cement cubes according to ASTM C 109 The apparatus can be placed directly on the lower concrete machine platen. The height is 188mm and the vertical clearance of the machine has to be adjusted using suitable distance pieces.
