Designed by and constructed for the California Department of Transportation, Gilson's SP-12CA Splitter meets CalTrans C 201 requirements

Large capacity, 1.9 Cu. Ft. (53.8L) gate release hopper follows the proven design of Gilson's original Universal Splitters, assuring accuracy when mixing and dividing bulk aggregate into representative lab samples. Ten, 2-1/4" (57.2mm) fixed chutes process particle sizes up to 1-1/8" (28.6mm). Sturdy, heavy gauge steel frame with a painted and baked finish is built for extended service life under heavy use. Four swivel casters permit mobility and easy storage in busy, crowded labs. 

Two 1.2 Cu. Ft. (34L) capacity, welded steel sample pans are included. Reinforced pans have sturdy handles at each end for safe and convenient handling of heavy samples. Order additional sample pans for increased production as SPA-120. For ease of handling, SPA-122 pans are also available in a lightweight aluminum construction.
