High Stiffness Flexural Frame, 200 kN Cap., SIMPLEX
High stiffness flexural frame designed for displacement controlled testing on advanced construction materials such as Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) and sprayed concrete. This frame is suitable for testing various kinds of specimens (beams, flagstones, slab).
These tests are significantly affected by the actual frame stiffness therefore the relevant international Standards state stiffness limits which are exceeded by this new model (better than 200 kN/mm).
This remarkable result comes, not only from the frame sections, but also results from the layout which keeps the specimen aligned with the frame crossbeams, thus maximizing structural rigidity.
The new layout also allows easier frontal specimen loading and positioning. The horizontal daylight accommodates large specimens (slab, flagstones),concrete beams and kerbs long up to 650 mm.
Two models are available:
- one with a pressure transducer
- the other with load cell (recommended for FRC testing)
Both are fitted with a piston travel limit switch and a connection kit to separate the control console. Please note that bearers not included.
