For accurate flow measurements in flows as shallow as 3 inches.
These compact meters offer the same rugged and reliable construction as a Price type meter in a miniaturized version. They feature a six-bucket wheel that is just 2 inches in diameter. Both headphone and digital styles meet USGS Type AA standards. For mounting on a wading rod or top-setting rod.

625 BASIC PYGMY METERS

The pygmy meter in a sturdy wooden meter case with compartments that contain two pivots, instrument oil and cleaning cloth.

625F ROD SUSPENDED PYGMY METER OUTFITS

Includes the Basic Pygmy Meter with case and either headphones (625F) or Model 1100 Digital Flow Indicator (D625F) plus a standard wading rod set:

  • four sections of stainless steel rod graduated for 8 feet (English or 2 meters (metric) from the base
  • wading base
  • 8 plastic clips to hold the cable to the rod
  • double-end hanger that mounts the meter on the rod
  • canvas rod case
