E-KODIAK DYNAMIC PENETROMETER

The equipment is easily transportable and allows access to any location: urban or rural areas, wasteland, cellars, inside buildings, etc.

The e-KODIAK® consists of

• An hammering system whose mass can be changed by adding weights. 3 weights possible: 5, 8 or 10 kg. The operator can adapt the penetration power to the resistance of the ground being surveyed.
• A DEPTHBOX© autonomous penetration acquisition system: a laser beam measures the distance to the ground at each hammering operation and thus the penetration. This box is connected via Bluetooth to the Sol Solution DCP mobile application.

The acquisition of soil resistance data is done by the Sol Solution DCP mobile application which allows immediate visualisation of the soundings and their geolocation. The data can be directly transmitted to the Websprint© online application for processing.

Rods can be extracted by reverse hammering with an adapter.

Soil investigation

Interpretation of the penetrographs is the responsibility of the geotechnical engineer who will be able to assess the estimated bearing capacity of the soil but also to establish correlations with other geotechnical tools (SPT, CPT, CBR, etc.).

The Websprint© online application allows you to create geological sections and to compare them with the penetrographs obtained with the e-KODIAK®.

The e-KODIAK® complies with the NF EN ISO 22476-2 standard for soil investigation (DPL, 10kg mass, 10 cm² tip and 50 cm drop height).

The e-KODIAK ® is also available without acquisition (visual hit count every 10 cm: N10)
