Syringe eDNA-100ml

The waterra eDNA 100 ml Syringe with a Syringe Adapter is used to inject Buffer into a waterra eDNA Filter prior to agitation with a waterra eDNA Filter Shaker. The shaker agitates the injected buffer within the filter itself exposing the buffer to trapped eDNA.

Once agitation is complete the Syringe – Adapter combination is used to force air into the opposite end of the filter. This drives the buffer out of the filter and into the sample container.

A Syringe Adapter should only be used once as it comes into contact with the eDNA filter and could cause cross- contamination issues.

Filter Buffer End Caps

Waterra eDNA Filters come with 2 end caps/plugs to securely contain eDNA preserving buffers in the filter capsule.
