The Boekel Shake ‘N’ Bake Hybridization Oven is ideal for hybridizing and prehybridizing membranes used in Southern and Northern blotting techniques.
The gentle rocking motion provides washes that are less messy than a shaking water bath and more convenient than a shaker inside a conventional incubator. The small footprint conserves valuable bench space.
Shelves are removable to increase space for taller vessels. The control panel features temperature selection buttons, an easy to read LCD temperature display, an independently calibrated safety thermostat and a speed adjustment knob.
