Powdermax™ Powder Weighing Balance Enclosure

Operator safety during the weighing, mixing and dispensing of hazardous or nuisance powders is ensured with the Esco Powdermax 1 Powder Weighing Balance Enclosure.

To protect operators, a number of engineering controls and personal protective solutions are available, one of which is the Esco PowderMax™ cabinet. The system employs carefully directed airflow to enable accurate weighing while drawing harmful airborne powders away from the operator’s respiratory zone. It is a low-cost solution designed to comply with USP 800 for non-sterile hazardous drug compounding. Inward airflow at the face of the enclosure protects the operator from exposure to hazardous powders or potent pharmaceutical compounds while minimizing the effect that air drafts may have on sensitive weighing balances. Has an optional exhaust collar for hassle-free installation.
