Petri Dishes

Our sterile Petri dishes are free of particles and are made of crystal polystyrene, virgin medical grade.
We are ISO. All plates are 100% visually inspected. Each batch is subjected to a complete sterility test is carried out by an independent microbiology laboratory, before issuing a certificate of sterility. The sterility test procedure is based on the current USP. Phoenix Biomedical has been ISO certified since 1995.
We offer an improved packaging design and high value. Cardboard inserts were removed and two reusable, autoclavable and sterile bivy bags were added to reduce the risk of contamination. Each product 600 pieces per carton contain 2 reusable and autoclavable bivy bags. Each outer bag contains 12 autoclavable ducts and "EZ OPEN" with 25 Petri dishes. This innovative package makes moving the box contents and facilitates a clean technique to transfer the product into the laboratory and clean room.
STAR ™ DISH is the only laboratory product to be awarded the seal of environmental approval "ECO-LOGO". The Government of Canada has awarded this prestigious award to products respectful of the environment.

STAR DISH series
STAR DISH 90x15mm nesting ALPINE
The edge profile of the cover on the box provides excellent stacking stability. Compatible with most casting automata, it is ideal for manual filling. Four ventilation spurs on the bottom of the cover provide ventilation, prevent condensation from forming and dripping on culture. The very flat bottom reduces the amount of medium required. Patented braces on the bottom reinforce the box and make it resistant to deformation when the medium is run at high temperature.

STAR DISH 90x15mm semi-nesting ALPINE
Is more suitable for high speed casting machines. The lid of the edge profile has a more gentle angle which allows the box to slide easily during the automatic pouring.

STAR DISH ALPINE 100x15mm "FULL SIZE"

STAR DISH 47x12mm "AQUA PLATE"

Petri Dish "CONTACT" with grill
Used for bioburden checks on work plans. The convex surface and exclusive pegs to hold the middle help the middle to join the box and avoid it coming off. A specific double ring around the outside of the box prevents fingers from touching the medium, thus reducing the possibilities of contamination.
