Digital Hand-held Pocket Refractometer
- Atago - PAL-Colostrum
- For determining the quality of colostrum
Protect and nurture the health of your livestock and newborn calves!
The ideal colostrum (first milk) Brix level is 20% and above.
This model can be used for determining the quality of colostrum. It measures the Brix value of colostrum, which has a correlation with the immunoglobulin (IgG) value contained in colostrum.
If the Brix value of the colostrum is over 20%, you can safely assume it is high-quality colostrum.
*Correlation coefficients may vary depending on the species of animal.
This instrument is equipped with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.
Data history can be accessed by bringing PAL-NFC to any Android devices or PC-linked USB NFC Reader (in conformance to PC/SC specification).
